EABIS ensures that members receive a significant multiplier effect and
a substantial return on membership through a broad based funding
strategy:
Membership Fees
All academic and corporate members contribute an annual
membership fee. These resources are channeled directly back into EABIS
operations to support networking and activities
Corporate Partner Funding
EABIS corporate founding partners allocate funding for
collaborative projects of approx. € 350,000 per annum. EABIS central
team raises awareness amongst its corporate partners and associated
companies of projects proposed by academic members. A number
of projects funded by corporate partners are currently carried out
through the Research, Education and Training Programme .
Academic ‘in kind’ Funding
EABIS academic partners contribute time and resources to
lead Europe-wide projects on a specific area of research, education or
training
European Union Funding
Based in Brussels, with close links to the EU, EABIS works
actively with academic members to shape research proposals for EU
funding.
Current examples of EABIS projects with EU funding are:
- RESPONSE, led by INSEAD - €1,200,000 from EU Commission
- CSR Platform, led by EABIS Central Team - € 750,000 from EU Commission
Other Funding
EABIS is constantly sourcing additional funding from alternative sources, e.g. foundations, national government funds, etc.
