In total about 350 individuals from a different range of disciplines attended the Colloquium. According to the estimations provided by the country code top-level domains distribution, there was a large participation of educational institutions (50.17%), companies’ representatives (30.69%), non-profit organizations (10.89%) and government & institutional representatives (8.25%).

On the other hand, it could be inferred that the geographical distribution was wide and at least 22 different countries were represented, being the most active United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy and Spain (hosting country). They were followed by other European countries like Belgium, France, Poland, Finland and Germany. Last but not least, it is worth pointing out the important presence of participants from countries all over the globe: United States, Brazil, Chile, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and South Africa, just to mention a few.
