The European Unveiling of the UN Global Compact Principles for Responsible Management Education

In its role as Co-Convenors leading the implementation phase of the UN Global Compact Principles for Responsible Management Education, EABIS was delighted to welcome Dr. Manuel Escudero, Head of Networks and Academic Initiatives of the UN Global Compact, to make the European Unveiling of the Principles in Barcelona on September 21st .

Accompanied by distinguished partner organization representatives Prof. Gerard van Schaik, Chairman, EFMD, Prof. Anders Aspling, Secretary General, GRLI and Prof. Gilbert Lenssen, President, EABIS, Dr. Escudero invited European Business Schools to contribute to the corporate responsibility global agenda taking on a strategic partner role in the business effort to respond to societal expectations through educating tomorrow’s responsible business managers.

Dr. Escudero invited EABIS Member schools and others to adopt the principles and collaborate with UNGC to further develop them in the year to come. In doing so, he said they would be demonstrating a great committment to the continuous improvement of their curriculum for responsible management education.
