2008 - CR Knowledge and Learning Forum |
|
The EABIS team
in Brussels is once again working to prepare an outstanding Annual Colloquium
that this year will take place in Cranfield, UK, 11-12 September
2008.
Building on the success of previous years’ Education and Training Exchanges, this year the EABIS team is pleased to announce the 2008 CR Knowledge and Learning Forum. The Forum will be a high-profile occasion for the wider audience of the Colloquium to get an in-depth perspective of key EABIS activities and projects in the field of education and learning, including those projects, current and future, that fall within the scope of EABIS strategic international partnerships. The Forum will provide a unique platform for participants to interact and discuss with project leaders, whose work is reinforcing EABIS as Europe reference network on CR and Management Development.
A major highlight of the Forum will be the launch and dissemination of the 12 individual cases generated by the LBS-INSEAD Curriculum Development Project, a 3-year initiative supported by EABIS Corporate Founding Partners (IBM, Johnson and Johnson, Microsoft, Unilever, Shell) that has proven to be EABIS flagship educational project. During the Forum, both case-writers and corporate managers will present the individual case to bring the business dilemma, strategies and decision-making processes to life. In addition, the Forum will facilitate discussion with key-stakeholders on how the cases can be integrated into mainstreaming and education and in-company training programmes. All the case will also be profiled in the 2008 Catalogue of Initiatives, which will be distributed free in Cranfield during the Colloquium. Participants will also receive a special issue of the Journal of Business Ethics Education dedicated to the project.
The Forum will be structured as an open, informal ‘marketplace’ enabling attendees to freely circulate, network and choose among presentations and stands with promotional materials of all institutions and organizations involved. It will be structured around four main sections:
1. EABIS Research and Knowledge
2. EABIS Education and Learning
3. EABIS and the European Commission
4. EABIS Strategic Partnership Initiatives
