Education
The availability of relevant
teaching material is crucial for educating tomorrow's leaders in the
area of corporate responsibility. Through projects in education
EABIS plays an important part in the process of integrating corporate
responsibility into all management disciplines in business schools.
EABIS Education Projects
- The Curriculum Development Project
Mainstreaming Corporate Responsibility in the Business School Curriculum is a three-year EABIS project led by INSEAD and London Business School.
The overarching objective of the project is to drive uptake of teaching
materials in core courses on degree and executive learning programmes
to demonstrate a new, innovative and socially responsible style of
management.

Launched in 2005 at EABIS 4th Annual Colloquium in Warsaw, the
Corporate Responsibility Education and Training Exchange provides a
platform for interactive and creative exchange of successful education
and training initiatives from the academic and business sectors. A
total of 150 presentations have been presented by Companies, Business
Schools and Universities, Training Providers and International
Organisations and Networks during the three very successful events.
The primary focus of this project was to explore how an organisation can enhance the understanding and practice of responsible leadership by developing managers that have the competencies for integrating social and environmental considerations into business decision making processes.
The scope of this work has been informed by the research priorities established by members of the European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS) which identified leadership and learning to be two of the seven major themes of the changing role of business in society.
