Objectives
- To investigate how best to involve potential users of research
relevant to CSR in making research conducted across the EU more
relevant to them and more accessible to them
- To build sustainable relationships between potential users of research and the European research community
Throughout 2005, 2006 and 2007 a series of multi-stakeholder
workshops will bring together senior practitioners and academics in CSR
in facilitated small working groups. The aim is to identify needs in
regards to CSR knowledge, to facilitate collaboration on new knowledge
creation, and to explore means of effective communication to
stakeholders.
So far five workshops in a series of eight have been held:
Enhancing Knowledge and Research on CSR in Europe, Brussels, Belgium, 19 July 2005.
Participants focused on Identifying European CSR Research Priorities
and means of collaboration. Participants from the academic research,
business, policymakers and civil society groups across Europe
identified knowledge needs and research priorities as well as means for
enhancing collaboration.
