Practical wisdom from the Islamic traditions

We welcome contributions from all strands of Islamic thought and we especially encourage authors rooted in Islamic thought from different national business environments.


Contributions should explore the nature and contemporary relevance of the Islamic wisdom traditions for management and management education. Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers with the following indicative topics, (without limitation):

Submission guidelines: please submit by 21 December 2011 your completed article including annexes for review to Antonio Scarafino indicating that you wish the work to be considered for the special issue on “Practical Wisdom for Management from the Islamic Tradition”.

For the authors’ guidelines please follow the manuscript requirements. The special issue will follow the EABIS conference at Al Akhawayn University on 17-18 November 2011 and be published by mid 2012.
