Corporate Responsibility and Education
The objective of
this network is to gather researchers who are currently developing CSR
educational tools (modules, programmes, courses, etc) in higher
education (both under- and postgraduate; BA/MA/MBA/etc), explore
approaches and opportunities to develop CSR educational tools.
Activities under consideration are:
- Setting up a group that
pools cutting edge content and pedagogy to design or even implement a
pan-European CSR program under the umbrella of EABIS.
- Potentials
and challenges for cooperation in existing CSR programmes (student’s as
well as teaching staff’s mobility, curriculum development, 'educating
the educators' approach, etc.)
- Development of a pool of EU-modules that are exchangeable among corresponding programmes
- Development of a resource (within EABIS) on how to generate and operate qualified teaching
- Overview
of European funding options in the field of CR & education;
development of proposals for EU educational exchange programmes
An initial meeting took place in April 2006 where the above ideas were discussed.
