Corporate Responsibility and Innovation Clusters
The intent of the network is to
bring together researchers with experience in their own country, who
have studied clusters of innovation and/or innovation for
sustainability from a variety of perspectives – innovation policy, firm
capabilities, and corporate responsibility - to enable the construction
of a more transdisciplinary understanding of this phenomenon and to
develop the ground for comparative research that enables the conditions
that inhibit or promote the activities of clusters to be developed.
This should provide the basis for policy advice to the EC and
contribute to the knowledge base of companies and other organisations
engaged in clusters of innovation for sustainability.
There will be two
workshops. The first one took place in the fall of 2006 and pooled
knowledge and perspectives from the EABIS network. Currently a
conceptual paper and draft research design and protocol are being
developed in advance for the second workshop.
Experts from the following Universities and organizations are involved:
- Solvay Business School, Belgium - coordinator
- Copenhagen Business School, Denmark
- Henley School of Management, UK
- IESE Business School, Spain
- Norwegian School of Management, Norway
- SDA Bocconi, Italy
- INSEAD, France
- Accountability, UK
- Microsoft, EMEA
