Sustainability Management School (SUMAS)
The Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) is a new and unique business school based totally on sustainability.  The aim of SUMAS is to educate socially responsible global decision-makers of the future who will make a real difference in the world. Its purpose is to deliver an innovative academic mix of sound business knowledge and a deep understanding of sustainable development.
SUMAS is ideally located in the MINERGIE ECO-P certified building of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Gland, Switzerland. The teaching is interactive and takes place in small classes with highly-qualified academicians or professionals in their field, who have multifaceted expertise in various areas of sustainability. The Sustainability Management School offers the following programs:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Sustainability Management
    The aim of this three-year program is to offer a theoretical and practical degree that includes compulsory internships, intensive research projects and experiential camps.
  • MBA in Sustainability Management
    The innovative feature of this MBA program is the strong emphasis on “learning by doing” with practical-oriented projects in collaboration with local and international partners.
  • Diploma in Cultural Heritage Management and Future Urbanism
    This ten-month program offers a professionally-oriented education for leaders managing the cultural heritage. This Program is designed to improve managerial skills in the field of site management, architectural heritage and historical towns, museum studies, tourism, conservation of the natural heritage and biodiversity.
