ICCSR 10th Anniversary Conference CSR Futures: Knowledge & Practice
Nottingham University Business School, Jubilee Campus, Nottingham on 26-27 April 2012
In recent years CSR has emerged as both a sub-field of business and management studies and as a basic management concept. In essence it refers to business responsibility to and for society but the meaning of these terms alone has provoked controversy. So where is CSR going? Is this just a matter of issues and context? Or is CSR acquiring some stable attributes? If, so what are these attributes and what explains them? Is CSR becoming institutionalised, and again, if so how and why? Is the future CSR more about responsibility, a business case, ethics, sustainability, or even compliance.
This two day conference marks the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility.
The conference will consist of eight parallel streams with over 70 papers accepted for:
- Asian CSR and its Dynamics
- Beyond the Attitude-Behaviour Gap: Novel Perspectives on Consumer Ethics
- Business and Development: Moving Forward on MDGSs
- CSR Context and Dynamics
- CSR & Governance: Comparative and International Perspectives
- CSR Impact: Beyond Financial Performance
- Leadership for Sustainability
- Organisations in Transition – Exploring the Role of Accounting and Reporting for Organisational Change toward Sustainability
