International WorkLife Balance Award - Call for Submissions

To mark the VII Global Family Meeting in 2012, the Lombardy region (Italy) intends to reward efforts all over the world that exemplify the best work-family reconciliations adopted by companies, non-profit organisations and public administrations.

Practices that reconciliate work and family include, with reference to this award, all policies and initiatives regarding: personnel management, task management, company and inter-company welfare and connections with local welfare policies. These practices, implemented by the organizations mentioned above, aim to improve the business climate and create the perfect balance between personal commitments, family life, and business associates/colleagues.

 

Who can participate

 

Possible participants for the International WorkLife Balance Award include:

• Companies of all sizes
• Public Administrators of all levels
• Non-profit organisations, NGOs, Foundations and other third sector associations.

 

How to participate

 

Participation is simple and costs nothing. Simply download and complete the nomination form from the Lombardy region website

ivan.basilico@premiofamiglialavoro.it or press@premiofamiglialavoro.it by Friday 30th March, 2012.

20 February 2012 Open for nominations
30 March 2012 (17.00 GMT) Closed for nominations
27 April 2012 Notification of winners
30 May – 1 June Award ceremony at the VII Global Family Meeting
