About the Project RESPONSE Academic Conference
This event follows a high level, multi-stakeholder forum organized at INSEAD last October to announce key findings and implications for business, policy-making and stakeholders. At that event, Project RESPONSE was acknowledged by many senior figures for the quality and importance of the research team’s work. Among them was EU Commission Vice-President and Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry, Günter Verheugen, who noted:
Project RESPONSE has looked closer than ever before at stakeholder expectations of business, at business responses to those expectations and at all the implications this has for competitiveness. As such it addresses questions that are at the very heart of European policy on CSR. We have had high expectations of Project RESPONSE and we have not been disappointed. The findings themselves have great value and should provide a sound evidence base for companies to combine a progressive approach to sustainability with high performance and competitiveness.”
Available Resources on Project RESPONSE
A number of key resources are available in the public domain. Of particular relevance to this conference is the final report submitted to the European Commission. That, plus other key documents, can be downloaded from the results page of the October 2007 Conference.
