Traineeship Opportunity: Project / Research Assistant

Overview of main duties and specific tasks to undertaken

  • Desk Research design and co-ordination
  • Assistance in management of journal publications
  • Collecting and communicating knowledge and information
  • Promoting and marketing ideas and solutions
  • Event organisation, production and delivery
  • Membership relationship management
  •  Involvement in EU CSR projects

 

Knowledge, skills and competence to be acquired during programme

  • Broad knowledge of global CR and sustainability landscape
  • Understanding of academic programmes and  publications
  • Strong research skills in developing market/client intelligence and in developing materials for reports, presentations, website
  • The competence to manage oneself (take responsibility, show initiative, and secure process and outcomes)
  • Team Work


Suitable Educational background (Studies / Courses…)

Graduate level in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, (Business) Economics, CSR & Sustainability (or Social Sciences) and Communication.

 IT skills required

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), social media, basic knowledge of IT.

Communicational skills:

Office language is English, so excellent level of English required. Knowledge of French would be an asset.

Other requirements

  • Self-starting, detail-focused and performance-driven individual with a keen interest in global sustainability issues in management research, education and practice.
  • Interpersonal skills (working in a team, networking skills)
  • Effective communication skills (presenting, writing, listening)
  • Diplomatic and professional attitude, capable of working with senior representatives from business and academia
  • Understanding of the academic sector, universities and business schools
